They caught up to the strangers faster than the two of them thought they would. Almost entirely men. Dressed in simple clothes. Dirty black robes for most of them, with a few outliers that dressed in any kind of black attire they could find. Their legs were caked in mud, and it seemed like most of them didn’t even have shoes. They carried baskets and makeshift sacks full of supplies. They walked slowly, led by a man in the front that had longish gray hair.
