I crumpled the note in my palms angrily, my teeth clenching hard.
“Asssssh!” I growled in my wolf's voice.
Spinning, I grabbed a flower vase on the table and hurled at the wall.
“Damn you Wraith!”
“Is everything alright, my Luna?” Beatrice called from outside the door.
I stopped, my shoulders heaving heavily.
I covered my face, gasping.
Gosh my emotions were all over the place.
I was indeed in my heat period.
“Everything is good. Prepare a warm bath for me.”
“Yes, my Luna.”
As I waited for my bathwater to be ready, the content of the note replayed in my brain.
“Wait for my next instructions, my Luna. Another mistake and I'm not sure what will happen next.” the note had read.
Knowing that I was linked to this man in a way I didn't want, made my body crawl.
