Something bitter clawed up my throat as I got to my feet.
Anger.
Pain.
Disappointment.
“You planned this with Xander, didn't you…You keep lying to me…keep hurting me…keep treating me like I'm nothing…you never change!”

“Stop…” I flinched back as he took a step towards me.
“I know I mean nothing to you…” I fought to steady my breathing, tightness spreading in my chest. “I only came back to help lady Pat and do my best for the Pack. I will leave your Pack as soon as I can. After all, you already banished me.”
I stormed off.
With nowhere in mind.
Just anywhere away from him…
