Chapter 17

Lina

I can't do it anymore; I know it has helped but I can't. I am sorry damn tired I cannot see straight and so much pain again. Damon brings his leg back to kick me in the gut. I roll away dodging it successfully for the first time today. He smiles

Alright, I’ll see you the day after tomorrow, I have business to attend to tomorrow

            I roll over and close my eyes, I do not wanna move at all. I need to get to Atom; I need to help them. I cannot even get up Dammit. Daniel pulls me up slowly, then swings me on his back. I wince, he drops me on my bed in my room and leaves. I need to go, s**t. I roll off the bed and scream from the pain of landing on all the breaks. Alrigth come on Lina. I pull myself up and walk slide out the door. Everyone is busy now. Damn we were there for almost three full days. It’s almost night again. Easily I slip outside, the cool air is wicked to my skin. Everything hurts and now i'm cold. Chad should not be too far from here if he waited. I move slow using trees to balance. The dirt lot we parked in is in sight after an hour of walking.

Lina?

            I just drop and wait for him to come, as soon as he is in sight, I black out…

Lina, I cannot carry you thru here, I need you to wake up now

            Groggily I slowly sit up wincing from the pain. He takes my hand, and we jog down the streets to the warehouse. Everyone is passed out besides Jt. He leaps up when we walk in. I drop against the wall and cover my mouth, I wanna cry.

Damn, i'm sorry Lina

            JT sits down next to me, i'm shivering from the cold so he wraps his arm around me, and I fall asleep on his shoulder… It’s so damn cold, it’s still dark outside. Jt sits up, he looks nervous and holds is finger up telling me to be quiet. He gets up and I follow him to a window.  There are 6 guys sitting right out front, they are ready to come in and look for us. s**t, we need a plan. We could take them.

We go out that back window and lure them away then knock em out or something

            I shake Chad and he gets up following us out the window. Once we are outside, I start shivering again. Jt points one way and then nods at us. He takes off the opposite way and we go the way he pointed.

Make noise, lure em away from others

            He dumps over a bunch of boxes and metal things, the curses and pulls me away. I hear the people running behind us. Jt intercepts us and we knock over a few more things before hiding behind a wall. All six come to the opening, Jt hands me a couple knives. I through three at the same time, killing all three. My hands shake as it hits me what I did. Wake up no time. I slam someone into a wall and snap his neck. When I look up Jt and Chad have the other two down. That was not so bad, besides the fact I wanna throw up. Jt lifts me onto his back and we head back to the others. Chad opens the door and JT drops me before we slip in. Brandon’s awake now, he looks worried but relaxes. I slide back down the wall shaking bad from cold. Jt sits back with me rubbing my arms and hugging me close to him. I lay my head on his chest and try to relax.

Must be Linas teeth chattering

            Jt lets go of me and I get up and hug him. I miss him so much; he rubs my arms and holds me into him.

            He lays back down and I curl up into him, still shaking bad.

Lina goddamn, you need to wear more clothes or something

            He pulls me up and we go into a back room behind the stairs. His mouth meets mine; I pull myself into him as close as possible. We lay back down on the floor with me on top.

            He presses me against him and rubs my back, i'm so tired but I wanna be with him, now. He runs his hand down my body feeling all the bruises on my skin, I know exactly what he is doing now, he wants to know how bad i'm hurt.

I get up and walk up to Brandon and JT arguing. They stop as I approach.
