Chapter 4 :The Wedding

655 Words
I've never felt more apart from Adrian than I am today. Once midnight came I haven't been able to see him. You know the saying it's bad luck for the groom to see his bride on their wedding day. I've been in this room getting ready for our wedding since 6:30 a.m. and it is now 1:00 p.m.. I've heard leaves outside rustle a lot. Who knew that there was a little building in the middle of a forest, weird right. My bridesmaid is Adrian's little sister, she so adorable. She wears loose clothing for some reason but I don't ask. Her name is Belladonna. She's been doing a lot for me, speaking of which she is bringing my dress and veil. I mean she is really sweet and does everything. It's like she is trying to prove herself to me, but she doesn't need to. The king or Adrian's dad is our priest as humans would say. Not gonna lie but I have been dreaming about my wedding since I was little. But this is even better. "Thank you Belladonna." I say smiling and she nods. I walk into the bathroom and put the dress and veil on. The dress is a corset like top with a flowy bottom. The top is red with black lace on the back and bottom is red with black sparkles. My veil is red. I step out of the bathroom and the women that are in this building with me start clapping. Adrian's mother rushes up to me. "I'm so glad my little boy has a woman like you, your amazing Celia." Adrian's mom says handing me the bouquet. "Thank you, mom." I say and she gives me a hug then rushes off. I hear the king call out the bridesmaid and she goes. Everybody but me and my mom had left before Belladonna was called out. The king now calls me out. I take a deep breath and then grab my moms arm, she smiles and we walk out of the building and down the aisle. The leaves crunch around my feet. I see Adrian looking at me as if it was the first time he ever saw me. I blush and he smiles. I get up by him and my mom takes a seat. "Do you, Celia, take thee, Adrian, to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part, according to God's holy ordinance; and there to pledge your faith to him." The king says. "I do." I say starting to cry happy tears. "And do you Adrian, take thee, Celia, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto pledge your faith to her." The king says. "I do." Says Adrian crying happy tears also. The king is also out ring bearer. Adrian's dad puts the rings on each of us. "You may now kiss the bride." Adrian's dad says no longer the king because Adrian now is. Adrian and I kiss passionately, and eagerly. It's so romantic. Once we stop everyone claps and bows once we turn towards the crowd. I feel different not sick different, but different. Anyways. "You ready." I tell the ladies, I turn around and throw the bouquet. I turn around to see who caught it and it was Belladonna! I walk over to Adrian and we hold hands, our hands spark. That hurt and I jump. I look at hands and see a tattoo forming. He smiles and says. "Finally, your mine." Now we hold hands my rose tattoo touching his rose vine tattoo.
