God that was so embarrassing! How could I have let that happen? I was so excited about being free and out smarting him that I didn’t pay attention to my surroundings. And I also got someone killed for it. I was so shaken but at the same time humiliated that it happened and I couldn’t even defend myself.
Maybe if I just lay here and fake fainting it will give me time to compose myself. I can’t look him in the eyes after what just happened. It will just confirm his belief that I’m an imbecile.
So I lay here even after being forced to shift in front of him. Even being naked while he throughly and I do mean throughly examines my body.. like did he have to get that close to my butthole?
But once he started shaking me I gave up.
“Please just leave me be! Can’t you see I want to be alone? Have I not embarrassed myself enough for you? “
Screaming I sit up and try to get to my feet
“ are you ok? What hurts? How is your throat?”
He looks me deep in the eyes trying to find the answers to his questions.
“I’m fine. I started healing myself once you got on top of me. My throat is just old blood, nothing bad. “
I wipe at my blood showing him that the bite was gone. He sighs then pulls me into his arms holding me to him. Both of us naked. Naked holding each other.
“ ehhh ..” I try to back out of the hold but he just tightens his grip.
“Just give me a moment. My wolf and me still haven’t calmed down enough to release you”
He starts nuzzling my hair and breathing deeply. I start feeling warm and sweating.
“God it’s so hot. I feel like I’m being baked. Let me go.”
“What are you talking about? We are in the mountains and it’s getting close to fall. You are..”
Suddenly he stops talking and starts squeezing me tighter and taking big breaths.
“What is wrong with you”
Then the pain started and I knew.
It was here.
So fast.
