Chapter 3 - Can I drive?.

" Anna we need to go now ". Alex said as he pats Anna on her shoulder because Anna was staring at the big screen without even blinking. She had shed a few tears, and it seems like she is still going to shade some more.

" Anna everybody has left except us, so can you please stand up babe ". Alex pleaded, but Anna didn't even move an inch as her eyes were glued to the screen while she kept on looking at the names of those that acted in the movie.

Alex had no other option but to kiss her on her forehead, causing Anna to finally blink.

" Let's go babe ". he said while holding her hands, as he led the way.

" Do you think it's fair for that girl to die ". Anna asked with her broken voice.

" I don't think it's fair that she has to leave the world so quickly, but I am glad she had to know what true love felt like before leaving this world. Her Mom abandoned her so she had to fend for herself, I can't possibly say I know how it feels like, but it still hurts that she had to die ". Alex said while opening his car door for Anna to enter.

" Yeah, I didn't like it that she died, but at least she felt life before dying right ?". Anna asked while sitting down in the car.

Alex doesn't know why she asks him if the girl felt life in her before dying because it is obvious that she felt life.

" Yeah!!! she felt life before dying ". Alex replied while accelerating the car engine.

Anna just nodded her head and kept on wondering how the boy could survive it. He is already in love with the girl, but the girl left him. She wishes him happiness before leaving which is nice.

Anna was still lost in her thoughts, when her phone beeps, indicating that she has a new notification on her sss.

She opened the notification and saw that it was sent from Alex's company.

" Alex, your company just sent me a mail ". Anna said Nervously.

" Go ahead and open it ". Alex said as he placed his hands on her lap.

" What if they decline my application ". she asked while placing her phone very close to her chest.

" You will apply for another one, in any other company, and besides where's that my fearless Anna ".

Anna forces a smile on her face as she places her phone a little bit far from her body, before opening the mail.

' Dear Anna!!!

Your application letter which you sent to our company has been reviewed, and luckily we have decided to grant your request of getting a job, as long as you follow our terms and conditions ~ from ALEXANDRA COMPANY ~ '.

Anna couldn't believe her eyes as staring at her phone screen in total surprise.

" So what did the latter say, " Alex asked, but immediately as he saw tears rolling down Anna's eyes, he got the wrong idea, and suddenly stopped his car.

" You will just have to try other companies or try again at my company but this time you should make sure to do your best when it comes to showing them what you are capable of doing''. he said while caressing her cheeks.

Tears were still flowing from eye's so Alex kissed her eyes, causing Anna to open her eyes wide open.

" Alex people can see us ". Anna said as her cheeks turned red.

" They can look if they want to, but I can still do whatever I want to do with my girlfriend as long as it pleases her ".

" I don't need you to kiss me again, it's different from all the other kisses ". Anna said while looking outside the car window because she is shy.

" I haven't kissed you once...... all that I give to you is just a peck on the cheek, forehead, and neck ".

" To me, those are called kisses, but with time I might get to understand what this type of kiss entails ".

" Can we go to any mall and get a bottle of ice cream, or even a cup of ice cream ". Anna requested.

" Will ice cream make you feel better ? ". Alex asked.

" It will make me feel better because I will have to smile at myself while eating the ice cream, and I still need to give Emma some ice cream unless my phone won't be able to rest because of her nonstop messages ".

" We better grant her request because your bestie is a troublemaker just like Hillary ". Alex said while coming down from his car. " There's a small mall around the corner, Butler Nathan loves coming here every time ".

" Is this the mall that you and butler Nathan came to on his birthday ?". she asked.

" How did you keep storing things on your head, but yeah this is where I took butler Nathan to on his birthday because of what you did that day ".

" I didn't mean to insult you, I just got annoyed that day because you asked me to spend a night with you, like seriously what were you expecting me to think, I thought you needed something else so I have no other choice but to insult you, which I am very sorry for ".

" I know you didn't mean it though, I'm just annoyed because everyone I meet always assumes things that they shouldn't assume, like why will I tell my house help to spend a night with me ?".

" Maybe because you have had a crush on her ever since the very first day you set your eyes on her ". Anna said as she entwined her hands with that of Alex.

" You are wrong because I already have a crush on you before even knowing anything about you, not even your name ". Alex said smiling.

" Jess ... please I have enough of your cheesy words ". she complained, earning a beautiful chuckle from Alex.

They entered the mall, and just to be sincere the mall was exactly as Alex had stated. The mall was small, but at least it has where they do sell ice cream.

Most people who are buying things from the mall consist of old people. If you are allowed to count the young people present, then it won't take up to even five minutes before the deal would be done.

They grab two big bowls of ice cream and this time around Alex pays for the bills using his credit card.

" You should have at least given me the opportunity to pay the bill this time around ". Anna said while staring at the leather bag that he was holding.

" I can't let you spend all the money on your bag, you still need to find another place to work, so I don't want you to spend all the cash you have at hand''. he said while messing with Anna's hair.

" You are going to ruin my hair ". she said while shaking her head, hoping that Alex's hands will remove from her hair.

Alex had mentioned that he doesn't want her to consume all the cash she has at hand because she still needs to look for a job not knowing that she was already appointed at his company.

" Can I drive the car, I want to drive, and besides you haven't seen me driving a car once, and neither have I been the one holding the wheel while you just need to sit down, and enjoy the comfortable ride ".

" I don't want you to get exhausted ". Alex said while entering the driver's seat.

" it's obvious that you don't want me to follow you, so just ride home alone I will take a cab ". Anna said with her hands crossed across her chest. She looks more like a bad *ass* teenager, because of the way she positions her body.

Her white skirt was below her knees, while her black top that exposes her stomach a little is now exposing her full belly button.

" I am sorry ma!!! ". Alex said as he stood up from the driver's seat, and went to sit at the other seat opposite the driver's seat.

A succeeding smile formed Anna's lips, as she sat down on the driver seat and accelerated the car engine.

" Did you bring the ice cream I requested for ". Emma asked immediately if she saw Anna walking in. " Woah!!! where are you both coming from ". Emma asked while admiring Anna's clothes.

" From the movies ". Anna replied as she gave Emma one bowl of ice cream. " I will tell you everything that happened later ". Anna whispered to Emma's ear while giving her the ice cream.

" You both can go and rest, you look exhausted ". Emma said while using her pink top to clean the pair of spoons which she is holding in her right hand, before the arrival of Alex and Anna.

" Thanks for the ice cream anyway, and please do have fun ". she said, winking at Anna.

" Is my Mom home ?". Alex asks Emma.

" Yeah, she went to her restaurant ". Emma replied.

" Funny!!! but my Mom doesn't have a restaurant ". Alex said as he scoffed.

" She's running a restaurant now, and the restaurant belongs to Mrs. Cindy and Mrs. Joy ".

Three straight lines pop up on Alex's forehead because he doesn't understand what Emma is saying.

" Let's go, Alex, I will explain everything to you once we get away from Emma ". Anna said as she drags Alex to the stairs while making sure that the ice cream on her other hand doesn't spill out.

Alex tried to walk fast just to keep up, but he ended up running just to keep up.

" Honeypie please slow down ". Alex pleaded.

" Jess!!! my name is Anna, not honey pie ". she said blushing.

" Sorry Miss Anna, so can you explain what you wanted to tell me ?". Alex asked while locking the door.

" You are always impatient in everything that you do ". Anna said, rolling her eyes as she placed her hands on Alex's waist.

Alex was surprised because of what she's doing.

" My Mom and your Mom added their money together, in order for them to buy that restaurant, which is good news Mrs. C.indy and Mrs.Joy. But Alex would you believe if I tell you that I will start working at your company from tomorrow, as long as I agree to their terms and conditions ".

" What are you waiting for, please just press check out their terms and conditions so that you can start working as soon as tomorrow ".

" About that..... I will have to still think about it, I know you have already bought tomorrow's ticket, and I don't want your money to waste and I still don't want to miss my first working day ".

" Don't worry, I haven't bought any ticket yet, and it will be so selfish if I ask you to go out with me tomorrow when you can just go to work and earn money ". Alex said while pulling off his coat and throwing them on the bed.

" Alex!!!!!! you are messing the room, and I don't think that's fair ". Anna complained.

" Am sorry babe!!! you can go and accept working In my company, after reading the terms and conditions, I will allow you to take all the time you need ". Alex said, causing Anna to quickly grab her phone from her bag and go downstairs to sit down in the sitting room.
