Two days later...
Kenna went down the stairs, heading towards the table for her breakfast, but she stopped in the living room upon seeing several screens and painting supplies.
- Ma’am... I mean, Kenna. - Andrea said, making Kenna smile. - They're yours; Mr. Adrian bought them.
- Where’s Adrian? - Kenna asked.
- He hasn’t come down yet. - Andrea replied, then she headed towards the kitchen.
Kenna looked at the stairs, feeling an internal conflict; she wanted to go up to Adrian's room and thank him. Or should she wait for him to come down? Kenna decided to go up to his room.
- Adrian? - she said, already standing in front of the door. Kenna knocked three times and decided to enter.
- Adrian? - Kenna called him once more.
- To what do I owe the honor of the visit from my dear wife? - Adrian said.
When Kenna turned to face him, her eyes widened, and she quickly turned her back, covering her eyes.
- You’re naked. - Kenna said.
Adrian was wet and completely unclothed.
- I was taking a shower, I heard your sweet voice and came to see what you wanted. - he said.
- You could have grabbed a towel. - Kenna replied.
- You’ve seen everything I have quite well already. - Adrian said with a smile. - If I remember correctly, last time, you enjoyed this body quite a bit.
- i***t, put something on. - Kenna said.
- Done, I grabbed a towel. - Adrian said. Kenna slowly turned around, still with her hand over her eyes, and opened her fingers a little. Noticing that Adrian was indeed covered with a towel, she removed her hand from her face. - What did you want?
- I... wanted to thank you for the canvases and paints. - Kenna said, still a bit embarrassed by the scene she had just witnessed. Although she had already been intimate with Adrian, on that day, she had been drinking; now sober, she felt bashful.
- It’s nothing. - he said, smiling beautifully.
- Are you going out? - Kenna asked, noticing a white polo shirt and dress pants on the bed.
- Yes. - Adrian replied. - I’m going out with a friend, James.
- Alright... I... I will get the canvases and paints and look for a place to paint. - Kenna said, smiling.
- You can use the guest room next to yours as your painting studio; it’s empty. - Adrian said.
- Thank you, I will use it. I’ll take the opportunity to paint beautiful pictures. - Kenna said excitedly.
- Sounds perfect. - Adrian said. - Enjoy your morning.
- I say the same to you. - Kenna replied. - I’m going downstairs for breakfast.
- I’ll get dressed and join you soon. - Kenna waved quickly and left the room.

After having breakfast with her husband, Kenna took two canvases and some paints to the empty room, where she would make it her studio and refuge. Kenna sat near the window so she could look at the beautiful landscape of the buildings and maybe get some ideas for new paintings. Adrian left after breakfast, only telling Kenna that he might take a while and she shouldn’t wait for him for lunch.
So, after he said this, he left, and Kenna went to the room with her paints and canvases. She was super excited to start painting; Kenna had always been a great painter and dreamed of having her canvases exhibited and her art taken to the world.

Adrian arrived at James’s apartment and rang the bell. After a few minutes, he heard a noise and the door being unlocked.
- Adrian, my friend. - James said, smiling.
- From the size of your smile, I believe you had a great night. - Adrian replied.
- Much more than great. - he said, still smiling. - Come in.
Adrian entered James’s apartment and saw the place was a complete mess; everything was scattered.
- Did a hurricane pass through here? - Adrian asked.
- Three hurricanes. - James said. - A brunette, a blonde, and a redhead.
- You spent the night with three women? - Adrian asked. - My boy.
- James? - a female voice was heard by Adrian, who quickly turned to the bedroom door. The brunette woman at the door looked like she was about to devour him with her eyes. - Adrian, what a surprise.
- Talia. - Adrian said. - Good to see you.
- I say the same. You haven’t been to the club in a while. - Talia said, approaching him, wearing very short clothes.
- I’ve been quite busy and got married. - Adrian said, showing his wedding ring.
- I heard. - she said, smiling mischievously. - If your wife isn’t taking care of you, you can call me. I know exactly what you like.
The woman pulled a card with a number from her mini-skirt pocket and placed it in Adrian's jacket pocket.
- Call me; I can bring some friends. - she said, winking at him before turning to James. - We need to go, we have another appointment.
- Alright. - James said. - I’ve already transferred the money to your account.
- Okay. - she said, giving James a quick kiss before calling the other women, who were finishing getting ready in the bedroom. Soon, the three of them left.
- Talia is a delight. - James said.
- Yes, I’ve been involved with her a few times, and I don’t regret it. - Adrian replied.
- Are you planning to go to the club? - James asked.
- I don’t know. - Adrian sighed.
- Did something happen? - James asked.
- I’m feeling strange. - Adrian said.
- How so? - James inquired.
- Kenna is confusing me. - Adrian admitted.
- You like her? - James asked, incredulously.
- No... I feel an attraction towards her. - Adrian said. - She’s beautiful; you saw that. Her beauty attracts me.
- Your wife is really beautiful; even I feel attracted to her. - James commented.
- Shut up, James, you’re talking about my wife, the mother of my child. - Adrian said.
- Alright. - James said, raising his hands in surrender. - Why don’t you try to be with her? If it's just attraction, maybe when you’re with her again, all that desire will go away.
- If only she would let me get close, that would be good. - Adrian said. - The last time I tried to get close and suggested something, Kenna threatened to throw up on me.
James burst out laughing.
- This girl is something else. - James said, receiving a deadly glare from his friend. - I’ll stop. You have to win the girl over; you’re being too eager.
- I don’t have patience for this business of winning someone over. - Adrian replied. - My thing is showing up, sleeping with them, and leaving.
- But she’s your wife, and she’s not just anyone. - James said. - If you want to resolve all this confusion you mentioned, I suggest you try to address it soon. Otherwise, you’ll go crazy.
- Alright, I’ll think about it properly. - Adrian said. - Can we go out for a walk?
- Of course, shall we get coffee outside? - James asked.
- I already had coffee at home. - Adrian replied.
- But I didn’t. - James protested. - I’ll get ready, and we’ll go out.
- Fine, but be quick. - Adrian said.
- I’m always quick to get ready. - James said, getting up while smiling.
- You’re worse than a woman getting ready. - Adrian said.
- Very funny, clown. - James said, throwing a pillow at Adrian before heading to the bedroom to get ready.
