The neonatologist entered the room and looked for Kenna and Adrian. Upon seeing them, he walked over to the couple.
It was almost noon. Kenna had been discharged a week ago and had refused to leave the hospital; she would only go to the apartment and return quickly, promising to leave only with her daughter.
