Two weeks after my accident, I finally had my cast removed. It had been a total nuisance, so I was glad to see it gone.
Laphel and Tan, on the other hand, saw it as a perfect reason to party.
“You’re finally free,” Laphel said, throwing his arm around my shoulder. “Let’s go celebrate.”
“Yeah, it’s time to make up for all those nights you couldn’t go out,” Tan said. “Let’s go to The Vibe.”
