As I regained my breath and the haze of lust overwhelming me cleared up, I realised the gravity of what I’d done.
This was not how the night was supposed to go. Right now, I should be at the movies with Luke. Instead, I’d just had s*x with Sean, the very person I’d been trying to avoid.
It’s like I lost my mind for a moment and did things without thinking about it. Now, I’d successfully brought us back to the beginning. I’d been determined to run away from this, but I’d eagerly walked right into his arms.
I could no longer go on the date with Luke. I’d looked forward to it, thinking it could be the beginning of something meaningful with someone I could be with freely. And yet, I’d ruined it before it even started.
