Chapter 25 - Discharged
“….I promise” was all he remembered. He sit on the edge of the bed and wipe the sweats on his forehead with the back of his hand. It was already dark outside checking the time it’s almost 7:00 pm. Aaron decided to spend the night in the cottage never wanting to go back home in the dark. He picked up his phone and dialed Ruth’s number but there was no answer. He dialed Nana’s house number and informed her that He will be staying in the cottage for the night. He went to check the cabinets for food and fixed himself a dinner. After Dinner he sat by the balcony and tried to remember what had happened. The cottage was full of memories of Jessie. And he was not ready to tell Ruth about it. He realized he still cared for her but it would be unfair to Ruth to tell her his feelings. Rut
