As you could probably tell, Kai did not like his little road trip job. But technically he is the one who said something about it first. Rue had figured out how to work the compass not long after we left the camp. Now we were headed somewhere far away from ShalderTown, by the looks of where the compass is leading us. The compass gave us the state of where Ysmay was being held, and I was not expecting it to be so far away from ShalderTown but of course the vampires are the ones who have been keeping Ysmay hostage. Now guess where we are heading! The one and only, Idaho. Man, I didn't even know that was a state, like I really thought it was just made up.
