When the car reached the pack house, it was much later than Ella thought that they would get back. Alpha Wade was waiting out on the steps with the other two alphas who had been excluded from the dinner.
The Luna stepped out of the limo first helped by the Alpha himself. Ella stepped out next helped by the driver, and when she got out she was immediately crowded by the other two alphas who seemed to be checking her neck. They both stepped back when Alpha Cade got out of the car, "Relax boys. She is still a free agent." He said. The Alpha gave a nod to Alpha Wade and walked past the group and into the pack house without another word.
Jake stepped out last, and by the look on his face was not happy to see the other two alphas on the steps greeting Ella.
