Ella and the Luna enjoyed a relaxing hour of pampering as they got their mani-pedis and sat back in the massaging chairs drinking their cucumber water. Ella enjoyed herself very much. She had never had a manicure, or a pedicure for that matter, at a salon. Her mother had always done her nails at home. Ella was missing her mother again. At risk of spoiling the mood, she decided to ask about her parents.
"Luna, have you heard from my parents? Do you know when they are coming back?" Ella said this quietly hoping that it would not ruin the atmosphere, and also to remind herself, no matter what the answer is, so needed to keep her cool.
