Jake continued up the highway at the normal speed for another twenty minutes. It turned out that he did go in a circle trying to flush out anyone that might have been following them.
They slowed slightly to see if there were any more wolves at the restaurant. There were none visible as they drove by, and the restaurant looked like it was back to normal with patrons going in and out.
