Megan had been asking Nick details about the game occasionally. In the bottom of the sixth inning, she asks him, “I’m curious, why do the players always adjust their testicles when they come to hit the ball?” She intentionally used the term testicles instead of balls or nuts, so Nick would not think she is too wild.
Nick starts to laugh. “I have no idea, unless they want girls to know it’s cramped down there on National TV.”
Megan takes another sip of beer. “Yeah, I guess it pays to advertise.” She wants to know. “Do all guys do that?”
Nick smiles, “Well yeah, but most of us don’t do it on national television.”
Megan is feeling her beer. “The next time you have to do some adjusting down there, let me know; I want to watch.”
