***Scott POV***

Being here with Shanna was everything. I have never felt this way for a women but she was different. Everything about her from her smile, laugh and beauty. I could get lost in her. I know I have a ways to go to get her to trust me. I have a past with women that may not make it seem like I am mate material to her; but I hope with time she will be able to see my true feelings for her. Since the first time I saw her I knew she was it for me. It was for her mothers funeral years ago. I don’t think she remembers me. My father Alpha Xavier my mother Luna Mia and myself came to pay our respect for the late Luna Elena from the White Peak Pack. That’s when I saw her standing next to her father Alpha Josh. Her long platinum blond hair cascading down her back. I can still remember her beautiful porcelain skin and light green hazel eyes that day. Drawing me in. My wolf Peter and myself knew at that moment we had to work hard to bring the Blue River Pack into the spot light. I knew when I became Alpha I would work my ass off to bring my pack honor. I wanted to be worthy of her status. Ever since I became Alpha of our pack we have prospered into one of the strongest packs third in line. The White Peak Pack being number one, Black Forest Pack Second and Blue River Pack third. Looking at her today with no makeup in just a hoodie and leggings she is stunning.

“So Shanna what do you want? I can make some sandwiches or we can go bigger? I turn from the refrigerator to look at her beautiful face as she is sitting on a bar stool in the middle of the Island in the kitchen.

“Let’s do sandwich’s. Then we can go big for dinner. What do you say?” She replies with a smile.

“Are you inviting me to stay for dinner?” I give her a smirk.

“Well I amuse you would stay the night at the pack house since you travelled so long. Your father and yourself are more the welcome to stay. Plus I am sure my dad would enjoy the company this evening.”

“I would like that. Well then what do you like on your sandwich?” I reply

“Surprise me! I am not picky” Shanna responds.

“Right you asked for it.” I say giving her a wink.

After making us lunch Shanna grabbed us a blanket and put everything in a basket. We walked over to where Luna Elena is buried under the big oak tree. Shanna laid out the blanket well I started to unpack our food. We sat eating our lunch enjoying the sound of the waterfall following. Shanna told me stories of her mother as she remember the past. I enjoyed every minute of it. She really opened up to me. After we were done we headed back to the cabin. Shanna putting the blanket in the laundry. We cleaned up.

“Are you ready to head back?” She asks.

“Ya, Peter is ready to see Lila.” I laugh out.

“We can let them hang out for while then. Lila loves the lake by the pack house that the river runs into.” She replies.

We walk outside Shanna goes behind the tree to shift. I take off my clothes folding them shifting into Peter.

“Peter, Make a good impression on Lila okay? We need her wolf to like us too.” I say through our link.

“Really Scott! I am always a gentleman. Plus I think Lila likes me already.” He barks out.

“Ya well I don’t want you to screw this up. These are our dream girls remember.” I remind him.

“I know Scott. I will show Lila romance and love. Plus did you see how beautiful Lila is? Her fur is as black as night so shining. I have never seen anything more beautiful. “ Peter barks excitedly.

“Ya they both really are stunning aren’t they.” I respond.

Thinking about how truly amazing she really is. Her platinum blonde hair almost white shining in the sun. Her porcelain skin and hazel green eyes pouring the magic pulling me in. What I would do to wake up to her every morning. The full moon is coming soon and I hope she will be my mate. Mate bond or not I would choose her every time. She has been on my mind since I was a teenager. I just want to make her happy, love her and protect her. I want to build on this moments with her. To show her I can be what she wants, what she needs. I would be there through everything. I still have not found my mate and I have a feeling it is her. I have always been drawn to her. Now that she is back we can finally find out during the full moon ceremony. I pray to the goddess she is mine.

***David POV***

(Two weeks later.)

“Alpha are you coming to bed. It is getting lonely with out you next to me.” Megan voice rings out from behind me.

“Get your s**t and leave Megan! You know the rules.” I spit back at her.

She is always trying to spend the night after we f**k; but she knows the rules my bed is meant for my future luna. Only she will be able to sleep in it.

“Are you serious right now David? What I am not good enough for you? Yet you f**k me just fine.” She barks back to me.

“Megan you agreed to this. I also told you what this was between us. We f**k that’s all. I don’t love you and never will. You are not my mate. Know your place!!” I growl out to her.

“I see well then Alpha I will take my leave then” She shoots out with anger in her voice.

I see Megan pick up her discarded clothes has she heads for the door. She looks back at me her brown eyes finding mine having a pained look in them. Before stepping out and closing the door behind her. I couldn’t feel sorry for her. She was the one who wanted this. She wanted to be my mistress. I told her the rules. Hell I still slept with other she wolves also. She is not my mate and I couldn’t promise her anything. Yet she agreed that we could bring comfort to each other until we found our mates or if we find them. Lately she has been more clingy. Probable because everyone is assuming she will be becoming my luna now that my Alpha ceremony is coming up. I have not put those rumors to rest yet. Knowing my father wants me to take her and my future luna. I have been feeling restless lately unable to get Shanna out of my head. My wolf won’t stop pestering me about her.

“You are ruining our chances with our mate!” Leo barks out into my head.

“Shut up Leo we don’t even know who are mate is” I snap back.

“When we do find our mate she will be hurt with us for sleeping with all these she wolves! It is not right! Specially with that clingy Megan. You are giving her hope where there is non.” Leo replies.

“Megan knows her place. When we do find our mate she will understand. She is a f**k Leo nothing more. I have told her a thousand times.” I growl back.

“Did you see her eyes when she left. She wants more David! You need to break things off with her. This will not be good when we find our mate. I am warning you if we find our mate they are not going to like our past.” Leo snaps.

“Leo f**k off.” I reply well blocking him out.

Feeling already pissed off I call down to the packs housekeeping.

“Hello Alpha, How can I help you today?” The omega speaks.

“I need you to send someone to replace my sheets with clean ones. I want it done right away.” I state

“Yes Alpha, We will do that right away.” She replies.

I go into my rest room grabbing my towel from the bathroom linen closet. After hanging it next to massive marble shower. I step in turning on the shower letting the warm water fall over my body. After about thirty minutes I step out of the shower. I dry myself off and wrap my towel around my waist. I head out of the bathroom into the room seeing they had already replaced my sheets and made my bed. I head to my closet grabbing a clean pair of boxers and grey sweat pants leaving my chest bare. I head back into my room pulling the sheets back getting into my bed. I take a deep breath knowing in two more weeks I will be at the warrior tournament. Where I will see her again Shanna. Our pack has been doing extra training getting ready for the upcoming event. I knew I needed to sleep since I have to be up by five to lead the training with my beta. Yet my mind is racing once again. Does she even think of me. Wonder what I am doing. Probable not since she hates me. Yet I can’t hope that I cross her mind even once. As I finally let sleep creep in and take me.

***Nathan POV***

It has been two weeks now that my stepbrother David has been back from the Alpha Summit. My father as been planning our upcoming ceremonies. David will be taking his position as Alpha and me as his gamma after we return from the warrior tournament. Soon after that is the moon ceremony which is the full moon dance that we are able to find our mates. It will be a busy next couple of months. I know David is not fond of me becoming his gamma since he hates my mother and me. I do not blame him for feeling this way. My father is an asshole. My mother is his true mate. Yet he marked and mated another. Which is what caused this whole mess to began with. My mother is of gamma blood and thus my father thought she was not worthy enough to hold the luna position. He wanted someone of alpha blood. This is where Luna Victoria comes in. David’s mother was an arranged marriage with my father Alpha Conor. Victoria was born of alpha blood. This broke my mother making her sad and depressed. He promised my mother once he got an heir with pure alpha blood he would stop sleeping with her which he did. He has not touched Victoria since. I heard rumors when I was younger that my father was originally in love with another alpha female. One he was madly in love with to the point he was going to reject my mother as his mate. Yet something happened. I know they are rumors or I thought they were about Victoria. I never pushed my mother about the rumors not wanting to upset her. Yet I was always curious about what actually happened in the past.

I know that David thinks I want to take his Alpha position. In all reality I don’t. I just want to find my mate and live a peaceful life. I don’t care if my mate is of rank or not. I will love her not matter what. I will not be like my father who has hurt so many people all for power and rank. I want to protect my little brother David from my father. I hope he will be a better man then he is. I always wanted to bond with my little brother yet he refused; stating the reason for his and his mothers humiliation was us my mother and I. In all reality my mother is our fathers true mate and Luna making me the future Alpha. The goddess choose this yet my father went against her wishes and here we are today. I don’t want to hurt my brother if anything I hope one day we can finally move past what our father has done.

This morning I have warrior training with David and our beta Lance. Since I will be in charge of the warriors I have been working with our current gamma Mark on the training plans and getting everything ready for the warrior tournament. I know our biggest rivals will be the White Peak Pack and The Blue River Pack. With that being said we have be training non stop. We have two more weeks to prepare and adjust training to make sure we are on top. Walking to the training field for morning trainings with my warriors I see some are already to gathered. Catching a conversation from our head warriors.

“Hey did you guys hear Alpha Josh has four women warriors who will compete in this years warrior games?” I over heard one of our warriors talking to his friends.

“Ya I heard his daughter is one of them! Can you believe that? Women training and completing with us! They should be at home keeping our beds warm and food on our tables. They are not meant for war nor to protect our packs.” Our head warrior Carl growled out.

“I heard that Alpha Josh’s daughter is a beauty! I wouldn’t want to hurt that pretty face of hers if the rumors are true.” Another said.

“Isn’t she going to be Alpha of the White Peak Pack? I heard Alpha Josh is going to pass his title to her. She is of pure alpha blood and her family ties are of Lycan. It is said she is tied to the original royal family form the north. They are basically Royalty.” Some one replies.

“Thats ridiculous! These are all rumors and hear say. She is just born of Alpha’s thats all. We will need to show these she wolves their places. Not in the warrior games but in our beds.” Carol said.

“I agree, It will be fun to play with these she wolves. By the time we are done with them they will be begging us to f**k them.” Another replied.

After hearing this I decided I would look into this she wolf they speak of from the White Peak Pack. She is peaking my interest as it is unheard of a female alpha of a pack. She would be the first. To top it off she will be competing at the games. This should be interesting. I have a feeling my father is not going to approve of his warriors fighting women. He still believes in the old ways. Our pack does not approve of women warriors nor do we allow them to train with us. After waiting for all the warriors to arrive I see David and Lance making their way towards me to the middle of the training field.

“David, Lance! Good morning.” I say.

“Good morning Nathan.” Lance Replies.

David just looks at him not responding.

“So there is a rumor that Alpha Josh has women warriors entering the warrior tournament.” I blurt out looking at David and Lance.

“Yes that is correct. We just got the roster this morning. Looks like our warriors will be competing with she wolves as well.” Lance replied.

“Is it also true Alpha Josh’s daughter will be competing?” I respond. Seeing David’s face turn to me with an anger.

“Who told you Shanna was competing” David growls out. Taking me back at his reaction at the mention of her.

“The warriors were talking about it this morning?” I reply. Giving him a questioning look.

“She is competing but she is mine. I will deal with her.” David responds coldly.

“Does dad known she is competing? You know he will complain to the council about allowing them to compete.” I reply.

“He knows and the council has already denied his request to have them removed from the tournament. I will deal with Shanna. Do not concern yourself with her. Like I said she is mine and I will deal with her.” David responded.

I was shocked hearing my little brother. She must have done a number on him. I like this she wolf already.

“So the council approves of them competing? And father is okay with that?”I state knowing my father always gets what he wants.

“Yes, all the packs from the council voted and agreed that it was okay for them to compete. They informed Alpha Conor if he was not okay with it he can withdrawal from tournament” Lance replied.

This is definitely interesting my little brother never talks to me. Yet he does now over a women. I have a feeling he has met Alpha Josh’s daughter. He even called her by her name Shanna. Huh……… I am going to have to see what all the fuss is about. For my bother to claim her so openly she must have left a mark on him. Two weeks can’t come fast enough my curiosity is now on high alert. Well Shanna of the White Peak Pack we will soon see what all this talk is about.
