The Oria army's Bf-109 fighter was the most produced German aircraft during World War II (over 30,000, excluding post-war production), with the longest production period (German production from 1936 to early 1945),
and produced the most air combat ace winners (the world's three greatest air combat ace winners all flew the Bf-109: Erich Hartmann with 352 kills, Gerhard Khorrin with 301 kills, and Günther Rahl with 275 kills).
