Jasmine's POV
Everything happened so fast. Millie jumped at Mason with her knife. I screamed. Mason moved quick. He grabbed Millie's arm. They fought for the knife.
I wanted to help, but I didn't know how. Derek stood there, shocked. He couldn't believe what was happening.
"Stop this, Millie!" Derek yelled. But Millie didn't listen.
Mason was strong, but Millie was fast. She twisted away from him. The knife came close to his face. I felt so scared.
I looked around the room. I needed to do something. Then I saw a big vase on a table. I ran to it and picked it up. It was heavy.
