I stood in the palace foyer, watching Jessy throw the tantrum of the century. She was sprawled on the floor, kicking and screaming like a toddler.
"I won't go!" Jessy wailed. "You can't make me!"
Alexander stood nearby, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else. My father just shook his head, embarrassed.
"Jessy, please," I said, trying to keep my voice calm. "It's time for you to go home."
She glared at me, mascara running down her face. "You're just jealous! You can't stand seeing me happy here!"
