The village erupted into chaos around me. The acrid smell of gunpowder filled the air, mixing with the metallic scent of blood and the sharp tang of fear. My men moved with precision, engaging the kidnappers in fierce combat. I felt a surge of pride at their efficiency, even as my own wolf instincts screamed for action.
"Lucas, lead Jason and half the men to secure the perimeter!" I barked out, my voice carrying over the din of battle. "Beta team, sweep the buildings! No one escapes!"
