Romina quickly moved to Jamel’s side, nudging him lightly: “Why are you just standing there? Isn’t it trendy abroad to greet people with kisses on the hand or cheek, or even a hug? Hurry up and greet Eleanor.”
Jamel snapped back to reality and walked over to Eleanor, smiling. Just as he extended his arms to hug her, Alexander stepped in front of her.
“Keep your little greetings to yourself. My wife was just a high school classmate to you. She doesn’t even remember your name. A handshake isn’t necessary.” Alexander smiled as he spoke.
Jamel’s brow furrowed, his eyes blazing as he looked Alexander up and down: “You! Move aside. You’re nothing but a useless parasite. You don’t deserve to be with Eleanor! I’m here to save her from her miserable situation so she can have a better future!”
