In a research center deep in a forest valley, Jamel Miller lay unconscious in a treatment pod, ultraviolet rays shining on him, making his body emit a purple glow.
A group of blonde, blue-eyed researchers in lab coats stood outside the pod, observing. They shook their heads in dismay.
“He’s in a deep coma, the EEG is weakening continuously, which means his body has undergone primary modification. Otherwise, he would have died on the way here.” one of them said.
“Damn it, it’s so hard to succeed with a primary test subject, and now this happens. What do we do for the next experiment? The Boss is really angry!” another muttered.
