Alexander and Rodger went straight home, and not long after, Eleanor and Valeria returned as well. After a busy day, Eleanor’s face was already showing signs of exhaustion.
Valeria, on the other hand, was practically bursting with excitement. So many influential figures in the business world had gone out of their way to flatter her that she felt she was experiencing something entirely new in her life.
