"It's not because so many good things have been happening lately, but because I feel a bit uneasy in my heart. I want to go to the temple to burn incense and pray.” Eleanor explained.
Eleanor felt that too many good things happening at once might bring bad luck later. By going to burn incense, at least she would feel more at ease.
Nana wrinkled her nose and said: “I'll go with Eleanor, we're not taking you with us. You stay at home and cook for us."
