THE ALPHA’S WORTHLESS LUNA

Serene/Luna Kira

Michael took a gentle look at her as he slowly held her up. Ria held her gaze for a second longer like she was silently begging him to remember her but Michael didn’t look; he gently released the hold and stood up.

Alpha Klein pointed at a seat for Michael as he sat down and turned back at Ria who had stood up dusting her clothes.

"Alpha Moon, I am sorry for the embarrassment caused by... by my servant girl Charlotte," Alpha Klein stammered as he made the last statement. "She is always like this, causing problems everywhere."

Alpha Klein said this trying to remove Michael's attention from Ria, but he still fixed his gaze on her not saying anything. Something in his expression sharpened as he quickly removed his gaze from Ria immediately.

Ria noticed the quick reaction from him but she gently walked out of the room. Midway toward the last balcony, she stumbled against Serene.

Serene fumed and quickly withdrew back holding her stomach. "Are you trying to kill my baby so he would look at you? Mind you, nothing! I repeat, nothing would ever make my husband Alpha Klein look at you. You are forever barren, and not just barren, you have nothing in you, Ria. I think it is high time you leave than staying behind waiting for a day he would choose you!"

Ria looked at Serene when she finished speaking. She smiled slowly as Serene turned to leave, but Ria quickly drew her back with her hands. Serene staggered back and quickly turned to Ria with shock as her eyes darkened.

The easy look on Ria's face disappeared immediately as she came closer to Serene, who instantly drew back, looking at her confused at her sudden behavior.

"You know, you have always been like this both in the other part I have known you as Serene. You always love and like what I have." Ria scoffed. "I am not surprised seeing you as Alpha Klein's Luna who I suppose was to be my husband alone I guess and of course they chose the perfect person to play the role of a husband snatcher and desperate wreck!

Ria screamed as Serene still looked shocked and unmovable, like they pinned her in that same spot looking like she had seen a different person. Ria let out a heavy laugh and she stopped instantly.

"Come on Serene... oh Kira I guess, go... go and take Alpha Klein. I don’t even need him and I don’t even remember who he was and don’t even wish to come out of whatever that might be covering my memory. I still wish not to know him, Serene."

Serene stood unmoved as Ria walked off from her. She swallowed heavily and held her chest as her heart beat heavily. She fixed her gaze to where Ria disappeared.

"Wh... what’s that? Why the sudden change?" Serene said, still looking toward that direction.

"Hey Luna Serene, can we talk for a moment?" A voice spoke immediately as Serene's breath caught. She turned and saw Alpha Moon (Michael) standing closer to her, smiling.

"My name is Kira. I... I don’t know any Serene," she stammered, bending her face as her expression turned severe.
