Fitzhugh was not looking forward to his upcoming meeting about his team’s findings—or lack thereof, as the last few soul-sucking, tedious gatherings had proven to be. Though no one could expect his men to have found out much information in such a short time, especially on an active battlefield, that wasn’t the way the army worked.
