Betty I was woken by a noise in my apartment. Before I even had a chance to f*****g process it, scream and fight back something was over my face. A cloth, sweet smelling. Chemical. I kicked for a second or two, and everything went black. As I regained consciousness gradually, I woke in motion. In a car. I attempted to pull my own eyes open but they seemed to be weighted down. My body would not do the bidding of my commands. "Welcome back, Professor Graham." A voice I didn't recognize. Calm, pleasant even. “This isn’t a matter of trying to do this at breakneck speed. “The medicine takes time to wane.” I forced my eyes open. I was riding shotgun in a fancy car. At the wheel was a man who was the spitten image of Duke. But it wasn't Duke. The expression was wrong. Too cold, too calculated
