I fell on my knees, screaming in pain once more as Melih was coming to the surface. My eyes were burning like someone threw acid on them, and my body felt like I was dying.
Before I could react, Cole’s fist connected with my jaw; he was back in human form, but there were still traces of whatever he had inhaled before. He looked inhuman. His body was still covered in blackish veins, with his muscles bulging and his eyes ready to pop out.
