I'm woken up by the sound of something crashing against the floor , memories of what happened with my parents flooding my mind . I silently slide out of the bed and rush to the bathroom , opening cabinets and only finding a pair of scissors and mentally scowl Lucian in my mind for taking my gun . Gripping the scissors in my hand , I tiptoe out of the bathroom , making my way to my closed door . I inhale a deep breath and grip the doorknop , slowly turning it . I push open the door slowly , looking into the hall , I see nothing .
I told Lucian to lock the door ! Now , someone probably broke in .
I step out into the hall , quietly closing the door behind me and pad down the hall , not hearing anymore crashing sounds . I turn down the hall toward Lucian's office and Alexande
