I wake up with a gasp , jolting up straight . Just a dream , it was just a dream . I repeat over and over as I wipe the tears from my cheeks , pushing my hair out of my face . Just as I'm about to lie back down , I freeze , goosebumps erupting all over my skin as I slowly pivot my head toward my desk . My breath hitching in my throat when my eyes lock onto his gray ones . I'm so shocked that I just look at him , he's seated on the chair , leaned back as his hand rests on his knee , his legs parted and his other arm's elbow rests on the back of the chair , his head leaned into his palm . His hair disheveled on his head , as always .
