Molly sat in front of her mirror, staring at her reflection. She felt numb. She couldn't believe that in a few hours, she would be getting married to a man she didn't love. She didn't want to do it, but she knew she didn't have a choice. If she refused, she would lose everything.
As she sat there, thinking about what was to come, her maid of honor, Jessica, walked into the room.
"You look beautiful, Molly," Jessica said.
"But you don't look happy," she continued, looking at Molly's face. "Are you sure you're okay with this?"
Molly sighed. "I'm not sure about anything anymore," she said. "But I don't have a choice. If I don't do this, I'll lose everything."
"You don't have to do anything you don't want to do," Jessica said. "You have more power than you realize. You can stand up for yourself. You don't have to be a victim."
"You're right," Molly said, feeling a surge of determination. "I don't have to do this. I can stand up to my father and tell him that I won't marry a man I don't love. I can make my own choices."
With those words, a sense of clarity washed over Molly. She knew what she had to do. She stood up, feeling more confident than ever before.
"I'm not going through with the wedding," she said, her voice steady. "And I don't care what my father says. I'm in control of my own life.
And then the atmosphere was cold and silent and Molly said to Jessica ‘Silly me it’s too late now I’ll be fine’ Molly made up her mind to make her family together
As Molly walked down the aisle, she could feel the eyes of everyone in the room on her. But she didn't feel nervous. She felt a sense of purpose and resolve. She knew that this was the right decision, and she was ready to face whatever came next.
When she reached the altar, she stood next to Jay. He looked at her, his eyes filled with confusion. But Molly just smiled at him, letting him know that everything was going to be okay.
The minister began the ceremony, and Molly listened to the words, but they sounded like a distant echo. All she could focus on was the decision she had made. She was choosing her own happiness over everything else. She was putting herself first, and that felt empowering.
As the minister finished his speech, he turned to Molly and asked, "Do you take this man to be your husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, until death do you part?"
Molly looked at Jay, her eyes meeting his. She could see the hope in his eyes, the belief that she would say yes. But she knew that wasn't the right thing to do. " "Yes," she said, forcing a smile to her face. But inside, she was filled with dread. She had just said yes to something she didn't want, and now she was trapped.
As the ceremony continued, she could feel the weight of her decision bearing down on her. With every word the minister spoke, she felt more and more trapped. This wasn't what she wanted. This wasn't her life. But she couldn't back out now. It was too late.
Finally, the ceremony ended, and everyone clapped. Molly felt numb. She didn't feel like celebrating.
As everyone filed out of the church, Molly felt a hand on her arm. She turned and saw her friend, Jessica, standing there. "Are you okay?" Jessica asked, a look of concern on her face.
Molly shook her head. "I'm not okay," she said, her voice cracking. "I just made a huge mistake."
Jessica's eyes widened. "What do you mean?" she asked. "What happened?"
Molly took a deep breath and told Jessica everything that had happened. She explained how she had been feeling trapped and how she had almost refused to go through with the ceremony. But then, at the last minute, she had changed her mind.
"I don't know what to do," Molly said, tears welling up in her eyes. "I feel like I've ruined my life."
Jessica put her arm around Molly's shoulders. "You haven't ruined your life," she said. "You've just made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. What's important is what you do next."
Molly looked at her friend, her eyes filled with hope. "What do you think I should do?"
There’s nothing left to do friend, My honeymoon departure is in 10 minutes
Molly was still talking when a maid came in and announced that it was time for her honeymoon departure.
"I have to go," Molly said, giving Jessica a hug. "Thank you for everything. I'll figure something out. I promise."
With those words, Molly turned and walked away. She tried to hold back her tears as she boarded the plane, knowing that she was leaving everything she knew behind. But she also knew that she had to do this. She had to find a way to escape from this life that she didn't want.
As the plane took off, Molly closed her eyes and tried to relax. She knew that the journey ahead of her would be difficult, but she was concerned of keeping her family together
They arrived in the Maldives and checked into their luxury resort, but Molly couldn't shake the feeling of dread that hung over her. She tried to smile and pretend everything was fine, but it was clear to Jay that something was wrong.
"What's the matter?" he asked, putting his arm around her. "You've been acting strange since we left home."
Molly bit her lip, unsure of what to say. She didn't want to hurt Jay's feelings, but she knew she couldn't keep pretending everything was okay.
"I don't want to be here," she said, her voice cracking. "I don't want to be married to you. I'm sorry."
Jay's face fell. He had no idea that Molly felt this way. "Why?" he asked, his voice filled with hurt. "What's wrong? We've been together for so long. What happened?"
Molly took a deep breath, trying to find the words to explain her feelings. "I just... I don't love you," she said. "I don't want to be with you anymore. I'm sorry if this hurts you, but I can't keep living a lie."
Jay looked at her, his eyes filling with tears. "I understand," he said. "If you don't feel the same way about me, I don't want to force you to be with me. I just... I just wish you would have told me sooner."
Molly felt terrible. She hated hurting Jay, but she knew it was for the best. "I'm sorry," she said again. "I should have told you sooner. I just didn’t
know how to say it. I didn't want to lose you."
Jay took a deep breath. "I appreciate your honesty," he said. "But I have to ask... why don't you love me anymore? Did I do something wrong?"
Molly shook her head. "It's not you," she said. "It's me. I've changed. I'm not the same person I was when we first met. I've grown and I've realized that I want something different for my life."
Jay nodded, understanding what she was saying.
I’ll not run away from this marriage I promise , but please can u not touch me till I’m Ready?? ‘Molly said this with a sad face’
"I understand," Jay said. "I'll give you the space you need. And I'll respect your boundaries. But I also want you to know that I'm not going to give up on you. I'm going to be here for you, whether you want me to be or not."
Molly looked at him, feeling both relieved and guilty. "Thank you," she said. "That means a lot to me."
They spent the rest of the day exploring the island, trying to find a way to make the best of their situation. It was a difficult balance, trying to be respectful of Molly's boundaries while also trying to keep the spark alive between them. But they both knew that it was important to make the most of their time together, no matter how uncomfortable it might be.
As they sat on the beach at sunset, watching the waves crash against the shore, Molly turned to Jay. "Can we just enjoy the rest of our time here?" she asked. "Can we just try to have fun and forget about everything else?"
Jay smiled, taking her hand in his. "Absolutely," he said. "I'm here for you.
