"Are you sure these apples are enough? I can climb higher up the tree if you need more," Odessa asked Claudia, who was down on the ground, collecting the apples she had picked into a basket.
"These are enough, Odessa," Claudia replied.
After falling from the tree with one bent knee, she landed without making a sound on the ground.
