"Run!" Odessa yelled, and they took off into the dark woods.
She stretched her hands blindly behind her to fire her golden light at the creature. It shrieked again but still chased after them with lightning speed.
"Bella, I don't think I can run any faster."
Alaric was breathing harshly, trying to keep up with Odessa's speed, but he was no match for the female Alpha.
