The bricks of the wall shattered on impact from the man's body.
The anger and bloodlust of the ruthless Alpha Desmond was evident as it sent chills down the man's spine.
Desmond held tight to the man's neck, like he was choking him until he turned blue, struggling to breathe.
“L-let me go.”
The man squeezed out the words from his lungs, collapsing from the lack of air and his face swelling.
Alpha Desmond squeezed harder, his anger flaring.
“Please, please... cough, cough... let go.”
He wheezed, pleading.
His windpipe had been crushed by him.
So with each word he said, he was choked by the overflowing blood.
Delta Xavier was at death's door.
“Moon Goddess,” he called to her, as all he saw was white.
Alpha Desmond's grip only tightened.
Xavier's words trailed off, his body limp in his grasp, his struggling completely gone.
The anger and bloodlust Alpha Desmond was feeling consumed him.
His eyes blazed with a crimson-red ferocity.
His anger was palpable as his heart broke and shattered into a thousand pieces.
Why?
He internally wailed, angry and pissed at himself.
Delta Xavier's eyes flickered open, his gaze locking onto the monstrous face of his Alpha.
None of this was his fault.
He didn't commit any crime or force any way to anger his Alpha.
But he accepted it and pleaded for mercy.
He understood this episode of Alpha Desmond, as his blood rage normally consumed him.
They were in a secret house far away from civilization and the pack house to prevent anyone else from finding out about the Alpha's secret.
Delta Xavier bore himself as a way to let the Alpha release his anger and control himself.
He had to try everything he could to prevent his bloodlust from taking over.
Delta Xavier's eyes flickered open, his gaze locking onto Desmond.
A faint whisper of assurance escaped his lips.
“D-don't give up. You can control it.”
In the darkness of the room, Alpha Desmond's roar of fury echoed through the walls as he finally let go of Xavier.
Xavier fell to the ground, greedily taking huge gulps of air into his lungs.
His face returned to its normal pale color.
Desmond angrily punched through the wall, shattering it and creating a huge hole on impact.
He was angry for being such a ruthless and vicious beast.
He was angry at Odessa for giving him a chance so easily.
He was angry at his bloodlust.
He was angry at his Delta for trying to stop him.
Most of all, he was angry at himself.
Delta Xavier coughed several times trying to recover.
His throat burned each time he swallowed.
Even his werewolf ability to heal himself was not able to let him escape such pain.
“It's not your fault, Alpha. I understand your bloodlust, but you have to control it. You have a wife now, Alpha. She would not like to see you this way.”
Desmond looked down at Xavier from a superior position, his anger flaming, restraining the urge to crush his Delta's head.
He used his foot to lift Xavier's chin slightly, making him look up at him.
“You don't think I know that? I'm trying all I can, but nothing is working.”
Desmond raged.
Xavier was almost overwhelmed by the sinister aura and dominance emanating from Desmond.
Trembling, he bent down and held Desmond's foot and willingly kissed the back of it.
“I respect you, my Alpha, but there's only one thing to do.”
Desmond frowned down at him, confused.
“What is it?”
Xavier looked at Desmond, his eyes resolute.
“Give in to the l**t. Take one taste of blood.”
Desmond blinked, his face twisted in confusion.
Delta Xavier continued.
“You have to taste something in order to stop craving it. Take one last taste of it and finally end it.”
Delta Xavier took a step forward on his knees.
“You have a wife and Luna now, and soon an heir. You have to give in now and never again. Trust me, Alpha. I can vouch for this.”
“I did my research.”
He continued.
This information made Desmond's eyes widen a little, breaking his evil demeanor.
But he let Xavier continue.
“I can bring several rogues for you to unleash your bloodlust too. I will do anything for you, Alpha.”
Before he could finish, Desmond kicked him away.
He crashed into the wall opposite the room, knocking over a whole cabinet of glass bottles and whining in pain, then fell onto the sharp glass shards, injuring himself all over.
Desmond, who was barefooted, walked slowly towards him.
He stepped on the glass shards, turning them into powder and causing himself no harm.
“Have I not warned you never to interfere in my affairs?”
Desmond growled.
“Never. I will never fall back into my bloodlust, Delta.”
He paused.
“And you dare bring this idea up again? It'll bring me pleasure to kill you.”
He growled, his eyes turning crimson.
Fear enveloped Xavier's heart.
Although he didn't think he had done anything wrong, it didn't stop him from frantically crawling backward, trying to avoid such a beast who was his Alpha.
Only when his back hit the cold wall and he had nowhere else to go did he speak in panic.
“I am sorry, Alpha. I only wanted what was best for you and the pack. My research must be wrong. I humbly ask for pardon, Alpha.”
He didn't think he had done anything wrong.
He looked up at Alpha Desmond.
His expression turned even more menacing as his voice dropped into a deep growl.
“How dare you, Delta? You think you can fix me?”
He stepped closer to Xavier.
“You think you can control my bloodlust?”
Desmond's eyes blazed with fury and anger.
“You have no idea. I'm the Alpha, and I will end you.”
Xavier's eyes widened in fear as he cowered.
He peed his pants as he tried to control himself.
“I...”
He stammered.
“I only wanted to help, Alpha. Please forgive me.”
With a swift move, Desmond's hand shot out and grasped Xavier's throat, his wolf claws digging into his neck, threatening to sever his carotid arteries.
A cold laugh erupted from Desmond.
“You shouldn't have come, Xavier. You really shouldn't.”
Desmond moved his head closer to Delta Xavier's neck, smelling his fresh blood.
“You really should have stayed away, boy, for you will be the one to satisfy my bloodlust.”
Desmond's eyes gleamed with an unknown ferocity.
His humanity all but gone.
As his fangs extended with a deep, ferocious growl, Desmond said in a low voice,
“Goodbye, Xavier.”
And with that, Desmond's eyes flashed as he descended on Xavier's neck.
