Dante I was having a he*l of a time leaving them for work lately. I was getting clingy and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I constantly wondered what they were doing, how they were feeling. What new words Mia would learn. But Otello had some info on a certain soon to be de*d ex. Once I got rid of him, she could fully move on. Forget about him. Focus on us. I met Otello at his place. The place was packed full of varying technologies. The fact that Ray had avoided Otello was surprising. He found everyone. Knew everything. “He’s shacked up with some chick and her kids. Hasn’t left the place. I can’t prove that he’s looking for her yet, but it’s mighty coincidental that he’s back in the city.” “Oh he’s looking for her. He knew she would come back here. Where she was safe. The fu*king kids complicate things.” “What do you mean? We just snag him up. Of course not hurt the kids and lady.” “Think about it Otello. We what, break into a family home? Scare the sh*t out of the kids? It will be chaos and I’m not about traumatizing innocent’s.” “Jesus’ man, Mia has you wrapped around her little finger. The kids will be fine. He’s probably an abusive piece of sh*t to them too. We’d be doing them a favor.” “Naw we gotta get him out of there. Just for a minute. We just gotta keep Mia and Tori safe.” “And how are we going to get him out alone? He’s not a complete idi*t, he knows she’s with us. The guys terrified of you. All of us, but mainly you. He’s not going to go to coffee with you.” He was right. On their wedding day I made sure he knew none of us approved. I was ready to drag her out of that church myself but fu*king Massimo stopped me. Told me to let her make her own mistakes. And look what that did. She suffered for ten years and none of us knew for sure what was happening. Come to think of it I was a little pi*sed off at Massimo. He didn’t seem to care while the three of us basically fu*king mourned her. Now I had to figure out how to get him out, alone, vulnerable. My sick mind was playing multiple scenarios in my head. Skinning, burning, slicing. I couldn’t wait. “So, when do I get a little taste of Tori again? That was the best fu*k of my life. I’ve never felt fu*king actual heaven before.” He wasn’t wrong. She was perfect. But I needed to take her out. On an actual date to seal the deal. Then I would be more willing to share her. “I’m taking her on a date. She doesn’t know it yet. If it goes well, I’ll let you taste her again soon. Maybe both of us. I think my little princess might like getting two co*ks.” “Fu*k. Yes sir. So what do you think she would think about, me and you? Think it will freak her out?” “Not sure. I need to feel her out more. Take her to my playroom and see how kin*ky she can get. I have a feeling she has a ton of pent-up energy wasted waiting for that dipsh*t to please her. I’ll let you know. Keep eyes on that as*hole and keep me posted.” I had a date to plan. Vittoria I was starting to be slightly offended. Mia had been yelling out for Dante all day. Not to mention clearly not pleased I wasn’t sporting a beard to hold onto. What the he*l? We both snapped our heads to the door just as her favorite human walked in. Mia scrambled up off the floor and stumbled towards the entry way. Traitor. “Hey there baby girl. Missed me?” “Ya she missed you. She wouldn’t shut up about you. Serious question do you sneak her chocolate behind my back?” He shook his head laughing, bending down and picking her up. Of course she instantly melted into him. “Think you can manage a sitter tomorrow night? I’m taking you out.” I didn’t like that. I never left Mia with anyone alone before. Not even her father. “I don’t know anyone. Not anyone I’d trust.” “What about Otello? He’s good with kids. And he knows CPR and first aid.” “Why the he*l does he know CPR?” “I don’t know princess. I just know I’m taking you out tomorrow night with or without a kid, so make a choice.” Ray never took me out after we were married. He*l he never showed me any attention. For years I thought I was broken. Not desirable. And now I felt like I was the sexi*st woman on the planet. “Fine. But I’m going to have to call and check in. She’s my daughter Dante. And she’s only ever been with me.” “I know baby. And if you feel off at any time, I’ll bring you immediately home. Just give me one night. Let me impress you so a good fu*k after is warranted.” Jesus. “Alright. But I want to set rules with Otello. Kindly. It isn’t his responsibility to watch Mia.” “Done. Don’t think I take this lightly princess. Mia is my responsibility now too. I have faith in Otello. He’s a good guy.” That eased me a bit. I know Dante would do whatever to protect her. Dante I had booked out the entire Tonis Di Napoli restaurant. I wasn’t trying to necessarily impress her, she knew I had money, but I wanted privacy. Afterwards I had an indoor garden tour booked. I knew my girl loved butterflies and sh*t. I didn’t understand it but I never forgot how excited she got anytime she saw any flying insect. While most girls were running and screaming my girl was embracing nature. She wasn’t like other girls. Still isn’t. Luckily, she agreed to let Otello watch Mia. Knowing he would know what to do if any kind of emergency were to happen definitely made her feel better. I was pacing in front of her door for at least twenty minutes. I was fu*king nervous. I’d never dated. Didn’t have the time, energy or will power to. Not to mention no women really caught my eye outside of a decent lay. “Princess come on. I’m sure you look great. We’re going to be late.” Not that it matters. We’re the only reservation. The door opened and I about choked on my tongue. God da*n. My woman was fine as fu*k. And seeing her dolled up was no different. I loved how she looked any time, but she looked like the Mafia princess she was. The dark blue silk dress made her eyes look somehow even more beautiful. The dress had a decent slit up the side that was going to be da*n near impossible to not slip my hand into. Her hair was curled loosely and her makeup barely there. She didn’t need it. And I loved that about her. “God da*n beautiful, you look amazing. Ready?” “You look pretty good yourself Dante.” It was true. But hearing it from her? That’s all I needed.
