Wendt Commons is the best study spot on campus. With a late night snack bar, three computer labs and two fireplaces that roar year round, when I found it with frayed nerves and jittery hands during midterms my freshman year I thought it was fate. Immediately I deemed it my place. Other than the Alpha Chi, my apartment and the only Starbucks on campus, this is where I did my studying. Holed up in an enormous, plush leather chair right in front of the fireplace, outlet within reach for my laptop. I sink back into my chair, tucking my feet under me and adjust my headphones. No music, just a form of social-defense if case someone tried talking to me. The headphones say unavailable. It's busier than normal, the other two commons on campus closed for break. The unlucky souls that live too far
