At first, I didn't mind the gifts. The chocolates that would appear on my doorstep after a long day. A cherry flavored sucker on my desk before class. The flowers, sometimes a single rose sometimes a bouquet of carnations left everywhere. My apartment had never looked more cheerful. But it got harder when the gifts began arriving, not at my apartment but the Alpha Chi house. Kelsey endlessly badgering me about who would send me flowers.
