Campus was empty at Thanksgiving break. Now it's abandoned. Religious or not, a month-long winter break meant that everyone went home Except me. And Kellan. I see him every day, eating at Harvest, running at the gym, snoozing by Wendt's fireplace. A constant irritation. At least it's one sided. I notice him and remain unseen, unbothered by that smug look on his face. Today he looks a different, thoughtful and weary. Not overworked, how can he be? School's out, Delta Rho's on break, I'm sure he doesn't have a job, I see him too often. I watch him, arms constricting around the books against my chest.
