“Enough!!” My voice boomed in the hallway making everyone turn their head away from Calista towards the source of sound. Every single student was intimidated and it completely made sense as it wasn’t me who spoke, it was my beast, Zeke. Humans, werewolves, vampires, and even witches have the common sense of recognizing the dominant.
I took a deep breath and walked towards Calista. Zeke needs to control, I can’t be like in school or anywhere. This short-tempered person wasn’t me. I have never felt the need to unleash my beast in public but today I don’t know what took over me when I saw them troubling Calista especially when that whimper left her lips.
I bent down at her level and helped her up. “Are you okay?” She simply nodded her head, unable to utter any word. Poor girl!
