I didn’t pay attention as the bus stopped halfway. I thought about many things but couldn’t find any answers even if I tried to believe the impossible. After arriving in Greenfields, Sharon arranged everything according to what she remembered. Instead of staying in a comfortable four-star hotel, we stayed in a small inn.
“It’s better for us to stay in one room.”
Because I was tired, I didn’t even care, even if we had to sleep on the same bed. As days passed, I began to trust Sharon, and so far, her decision has kept us from danger. When we got into the room, Sharon didn’t bother me anymore. Even so, I couldn’t sleep because the room was dirty, and there were all kinds of smells invading my nostril, which made me feel revolted.
