Sharon’s PoV
Just as Arthur was about to lose his life, the gray hair man locked eyes with me. My heart dropped from its cavity, and I’m sure Rose noticed my reaction. And at that moment, Rose found Justin.
Justin showed only a pair of eyes as she witnessed everything from that narrow gap under the huge fallen walls. I’m not sure if he’s trapped or if he deliberately hid there.
“One.”
The gray hair man began counting, and I know I am that man’s next target. Should I speak up? I don’t want to die yet, and I know where Justin is. Rose squeezed my hand as she realized what was happening.
“Two.”
Rose let go of my hand.
“Thre-“
Before the gray hair man could finish, he was interrupted by a voice.
“I know where the man you’re looking for is hiding.”
