KHOL'AN watched from the balcony of his room as Rebekah walked side by side with Hakeemii along the fields, as dusk fell. He didn't want to think much of their growing friendship. Rebekah had been a lot nicer to him these past week. Greeting him when they came across each other, even managing a smile his way. He knew it wasn't so much for a standard relationship, but it was more than enough for him, knowing the unusual circumstances of their relationship. If she was finally finding a bit more comfort around his family, then he wasn't going to feel bad about it. He just wanted her to be happy, and probably spare him a bit more time like she did with his cousin. "Khol'an." Nali'a appeared at his door, a sad smile on her face, and her daughter on one hip. "Don't look at me that way."
