VAELORA and Rebekah stepped into the foyer, their mood still light from the run. Vaelora paused mid-step, when a low, guttural growl echoed from Andronikos’ lair. Her heart skipped, and she turned slightly toward the Rebekah. “Go on, love.” She said softly. “I just want a moment.” Rebekah nodded in understanding, and disappeared up the staircase.
