“Boss…” Garret entered the room after seeing the woman leave. Unfortunately the man inside seemed to be in a bad mood and even more irritated than he’d ever previously been.
“What is it?” Henry asked as he turned to the man, looking at him as if he was but another annoyance.
“Who was she?” Garret asked with a deep voice, looking at the other to seek an explanation for what happened moments ago.
“My wife, didn’t you hear?” Henry asked as he turned to look at the man. Then paused after seeing the other’s genuinely hurt expression.
“I see…” Garret clenched his fist and didn’t say anything else. In truth he wanted to ask so many things. And especially the single thought that was on the man’s mind, that consumed him. ‘What do I mean… to Boss?’
