“Hey, what was your childhood like?” Henry asked as if to purposefully steer the conversation in a completely new direction.
“It was a normal one.” Garret replied without giving it much thought. He genuinely didn’t have anything particularly interesting to share about his more than average childhood.
“Tell me about it regardless. I just want to hear you talk more.” Henry said as he crossed his hands and leaned back in his chair. Awaiting for the other’s story time to begin.
“I used to play with my younger brother all the time. We would go in the guarder, chase each other around, play with Gum, our cat…” Garret began telling his mundane tale.
‘Just as I expected he had a nice childhood…’ Henry thought to himself, he couldn’t help but remember
