Xavier's POV

I could hear all the commotion through the mind link. Something was happening in the water hole, and something told me I had to get there and now! Jumping off my balcony, I gave full control to Zader. "Take us there" I ordered, and he complied with no hesitation.

Upon arrival, I shifted back. Her sent was everywhere. I noticed that half of the wolves were searching frantically in the water. "What are you looking for" I questioned my Alfa ora, rolling off from me. "A-a-a girl, I was only playing, and she went under. We can't find her!!" I didn't need to hear anymore. I ran to the water and dove in.. I began to open my mind to link to her, and began to scream. She had to hear me. I'm her mate for God's sake!! Suddenly, it was as if someone was guiding my hand. I felt her!!!! I grabbed hold of her arm and drug her to the surface.

It wasn't until I pulled her from the water that I realized she had no top on. Zander ripped through the surface and we started giving cpr. Zander started to radiate our ora, which made everyone look at the ground. No one should dare look at our mate. She began to sputter and cough, which was good as it meant the water was coming out.

Allison's POV

I'm not sure how long I was under but when I came too, everything was so bright. It took me a second to realize that Xavier was standing over me, and it took even longer for me to realize I had no top on. Out of instinct, I basically jumped into his arms, trying to cover myself. He willingly wrapped his arms around me, shielding me from everyone's view. Without saying a word, he stood me up. He then took his shirt off and put it over my head. It was long enough to be a dress on me. He picked me up like I weighed less than nothing, and began walking in the opposite direction than my house. I didn't ask about it but I knew I'd be in for it whenever I ended up going home!

About a mile into our walk we came upon this giant gate. He punched in a code on the keypad and the gates swung open for us. Before going in, I nuzzled my head into him. Hoping no one would recognize me from school. "Is this her?" a gruff voice asked him. "Yes" is all he replied while he continued to walk. What did he mean is this her? Had Xavier been talking about me? No way! He barely even knows me. Or does he? He walked to the end of the hallway, and stopped at the last door in the hallway. He turned the knob and walked in. This room.. It smells so good. A moan escaped my lips and I shut my eyes back quickly.. What is happening to me? He chuckled low. I could feel his chest rumble, And it made me squirm in his arms. Why was I so taken to him? We had ignored each other the entire six years I have lived here.

He finally sat me on his bed, and it was like sitting on a cloud. Once i was sitting, he cupped my face and stared at me for what seemed like a century. "I know that this must be a lot to process for you. Seeing as we've never even talked up until now." He spoke quietly. I just nod. Not really sure what to say. "How about I get you some clothes, and we can just go to bed? We can talk tomorrow." Go to bed? Daunte would punish me badly if he knew I hadn't come home. "U-u-uhh I really appreciate what you did. I really need to go home though." The words barely made their way out of my mouth. "Its too late for you to go home now, could you maybe ring your dad to let him know you'll be staying over." He asked. I nodded, just giving in. I'll already be punished for not making dinner anyway. Looks like I'll be sharing a room with Xavier Lassant..

When he came back, he had all the female necessities for the shower. He guided me to the master bath. "Use whatever you need in here." He was being too nice. I still cant figure out what's up. Seeing his bathtub, my eyes lit up. I haven't been in a warm bath since my fathers passing. He mustve noticed, because he went over and started running my water. "Take all the time you need, I'll just be right in here waiting for you." He headed for the door, closing it behind him.

After my bath, I put the bra and undies on he had given me. Weirdly, I wanted to put his shirt back on. It smelt so good. Making me feel safe. Tonight will definitely be one for the books.
