Emma turned in her sleep till she was facing the window and the rays of sunlight made her whine, muttering incorrect words.
A shadow appeared in the way blocking the sun from hitting her and She smiled. Her happiness was short lived when a hand pulled her up.
"Wake up sleepy head," A voice sang,
Emma shook her head and laid down again, hugging the sheets
"Food is ready, Lazy girl," the voice whispered into her ears,
Emma laughed loudly and opened her eyes, squatted down close to her was someone she never knew she would see again, Sister Margret!!!!!!!
"Mother??" She called, unsure,
An amused smile appeared on the later's face, She touched Emma's face and neck and touched hers too.
"Did you hit your head somewhere" She asked,
Emma laughed, "no, why would I"
"You woke up mid day and you are calling me Mother"
A woman appeared in the doorway, She looked just like Sister Margaret Mom, but a younger Version too
"Sienna, Did I not ask you to quickly bring Anne to eat so she would go to the store," She queried, "it's almost time for your Hadrid to come back,"
"I am sorry Mom," Sister Margret now Sienna replied and stood up, gave a little bow and walked out of the room,
"Do not forget to tell Mrs Qui that her clothes is done" The younger Version of Margret's Mother called out to Sienna.
Emma was still trying to process all that happened when the woman sat down close to her, smiling affectionately
"I hope you rested well my little baby," She asked, rubbing Emma's hair,
Emma gave her a smile which she forced,
The woman took her hand and walked her down stairs to the dinning, Two other boys sat there, eating, each seemed dressed to go out,
"Hello little Sis", One called out, "I thought you were never going to wake up"
"Don't tease her," The Older one chided, "She went to bed late trying to fix your b****y trousers",
The woman quickly covered Emma's ears,
"How many times would I say no swear words in my house Suz", She demanded, "and you Dero, You should be ashamed of yourself for teasing your little Sister that is always looking out for you,"
She carried Emma to seat on the dinning as it was higher than her,
Before her was some honey cakes, Rice, some chilli sauce and Chicken soup.
"Honey cakes!" Emma exclaimed excitedly,
"Yes my love", The woman replied, "Specially for you"
Emma smiled widely, "Thank you very much",
The woman smiled boardly and hugged her,
"That's my cutie pie, I love you," She chirped, "You see, She thanked me for just this small piece of honey cake, You two can't even say thank you after a meal",
"We are so sorry Mother", the two replied, giving a small bow,
"They would be good Mother", Emma added,
The woman hugged Emma again,
"Eat up sweetheart, let me warm your bath", with that, She walked towards the kitchen.
The house looked Middle class as Emma noticed and She seemed like the last child of the family but she wouldn't concluded since she had not met Hadrid, the name the woman mentioned in the room, The two boys brought their meals and sat close to her, each offering a bit of chicken for one honey cake, she gladly shared it with them and they patted her back softly.
They all had red hair like her, which was weird, back in the orphanage and their city, it was only she and Sister Margret that had red hair
"See I got you another hair band", Suz told her, bringing out a blue colored hair band,
"Stop buying her your favorite color," Daro interjected,
"She loves blue ok", Suz replied,
Emma smiled at the sight of the band and turned to allow Suz fixed it on her hair, Daro hissed and brought out two bangles
"For you," He said, giving it to her,
Emma smiled and quickly slid it onto her wrist and she then noticed she wore about five of them bangles in both hands
"Thank you very much Suz and Daro", She appreciated, giving both of them a bow,
The smile on their faces was enough to tell her how much they liked the fact that She accepted their gifts
"we love our little Sister ok," Suz assured her,
Just then, Another boy bigger than Both Boys and even Sienna walked in,
"You are stealing her cakes again", He called out,
"Hadrid........", They both exclaimed, "You are back",
"Yes ", He replied and walked to the table, "I hope they did not bother you"
"No", Emma replied and showed him their gifts,
"Cheap Cows," Hadrid blurted and the both boys covered her ears
Emma burst out laughing, revealing two missing teeth she did not know when it fell off
Hadrid and the rest joined in the laughter
Hadrid gave her some sweets he brought especially for her and warned Suz and Daro not to beg her
This amused Emma again and She burst into another round of laughter, which the rest joined to her further amusement.
The woman walked in immediately,
"You won't let her eat," She asked them, "look at how bony my baby is looking,
Emma was far from bony, in fact she was more fleshy than most kids she knew
The woman chased the rest of the boys away and fed Emma herself, took her to what looked like an ancient bath tub and gave her a bath.
Her clothes were ready immediately and She was given some food for her Father.
Outside, Hadrid put her on a horse coach and after many choruses of "I love you" and "I love you too" from the boy and The woman, The horse rose away.
The whole place looked like it was in the past and having a family was more than great for her.
Sister Margret was her Sister and not her Mother, She had three very loving brothers and even Margaret's Mother was so kind.
She was more like a Princess
She wondered what happened and where the Anne might have gone to.
The coachman stopped her before a huge grain stall and the shouts of Anne is here rented the air, like she was one celebrity.
Margret's Father walked out with his usual cane and a smile, They helped Emma come down and She ran to hug him. He lifted her up with one hand and carried her into the stall after she had greeted everybody She saw there.
"I brought your food," Emma told him, She felt She was dreaming and really needed to continue for the time being.
The man smiled and began to eat the food that Emma opened for him, Emma smiled back.
Looking around, She felt there was nothing to do, Everyone was busy and customers seemed to increase immediately.
Margaret's Father, which was now her Father gave her a piece of each food he ate and when he was done, Emma. covered the plate.
A woman which looked exactly like Sister Anne walked in and Emma became uneasy.
Her father noticed her discomfort,
"Don't worry Anne, today's class won't be long ok," He assured her,
Anne smiled at him and at the Teacher,
The learning time was almost everything Emma knew and As she learnt, Her father sat watching her with a proud smile.
The teacher was astounded too
"We would move to higher topics, Sir Find" She told Emma's Father with a bow
"Please do," Mr Find told her,
But Emma still felt they were children topics, when she was not with Sister Margret in the orphanage, She was in the Library reading everything She should and those she shouldn't, She knew most about Physics, Chemistry and even Maths.
Mr Find seeing the Teacher's discomfort dismissed her and asked she come back the next day.
Emma turned to him with her innocent look,
"Tell me whatever you want, I will give it to you my child, I always know you would make me proud" Mr Find told her.
Emma smiled heartily and hugged her.
"I will pass my exams and make you happier", She assured him.
Mr Find rubbed her hair affectionately, a proud gleam on his face, He would surely take his place in the Palace of Marlowe.
