Prologue

Family expectations, academic pressures, personal insecurities, and even a jealous ex-girlfriend. How will they cope with the challenges that threaten to tip the scale? How will they find balance in love?

It's called "EQUILIBRIUM: Finding balance in Love" and it's a story about a civil engineering student and an accountancy student who fall in love despite their differences.

The story starts with the introduction of the main characters and their backgrounds. The civil engineering student is named Ethan and he is a smart, hardworking and ambitious guy who dreams of building skyscrapers and bridges. He comes from a poor family and he works part-time as a tutor to pay for his tuition fees. He is also very loyal to his friends and has a good sense of humor.

The accountancy student is named Mia and she is a beautiful, sweet and kind girl who loves numbers and calculations. She comes from a wealthy family and she enjoys shopping, traveling and pampering herself. She is also very generous and compassionate to others and has a soft spot for animals.

They met at a party where Ethan was invited by his friend and Mia was dragged by her cousin. They had an instant attraction but they also had some misunderstandings due to their different personalities and lifestyles. They exchanged numbers but they didn't contact each other until a few weeks later, when they bumped into each other at the university.

The prologue ends with a cliffhanger where Ethan asks Mia out for a date and she agrees, but she also tells him that she has something important to tell him. What could it be? You'll have to read the story to find out!
